The Countdown Has Begun!

Yes, I know everyone probably has been counting the days until the con since before I joined this forum, but I thought it might be fun (or annoying depending on how you look at it) to have an official countdown page. We can just do the days until, or if you did something important & con-related (bought your airplane tickets, found a roommate, finished packing, etc.), post it here too. I like the anticipation & buildup to events almost as much as the event itself!

So, from my current time zone, we have 59 days until the con!

Excited already! Booked the flights, but still need to find a roommate. Not too worried about that yet, still plenty of time to find a roomie

Hehe, well if I count the days until my actual plane leaves, it's also 58! I'm leaving Thursday afternoon to get the Friday morning. Nice signature/banner by the way!

For me it is only 52 days - okay technically not to the con's start but to the time I leave home, since I come by car doing a road trip down to Rome (1,458 km (905.96 miles) and knowing me I need 2,000 km (1242.74 miles) zigzagging to worthy vista points in-between). So the excitement starts for me a bit earlier.

it's because february's shorter XD we're almost there yay!!!

Whohoooo only 20 days for me to start my drive down to Rome. I already did the big shopping. Additional memory cards, car charger for batteries, updated GPS software, camera is cleaned and ready to use, lenses are cleaned and ready to use and I also tested my mobile (cell) to put the status quo of my travelling onto my Twitter account successfully, including the upload of pictures. My laptop is updated with the photo database I use and every single cable has been tested.

My customers are all on strict notice not to call for any problems that might arise while I'm gone. For that I'm willing to work through the weekends before and after and into the wee hours of the morning.

Time flies and soon we are back on the forum to talk about how fast the event went over.

I made one yesterday!! And I already made my own personal JIB Calendar..it starts from March 1st and ends to April 2nd!! Pretty unique huh??
